· After dropping their first match of the 2005 season on Sept. 2, the Longhorns earned their third shutout in four games with a 0-0 tie at Michigan State on Sept. 4. Notably, the last time UT had posted three shutouts in its first four games of the year was 1999 when the Horns rattled off three consecutive shutouts to open the campaign.

· Sophomore forward Kelsey Carpenter scored her second goal in three matches against Michigan on Sept. 2 to give her a team-best four points this season.

· The goalkeeping tandem of junior Dana Hall and freshman Dianna Pfenninger has combined to account for three shutouts and a 0.71 GAA over four matches. Additionally, Hall and Pfenninger each own nine saves on the year while allowing only one and two goals, respectively.

· Four different players have accounted for UT's five goals as a team so far this year while four Longhorns currently own 11 or more shots on the young campaign.

· Up next, the Longhorns return to Myers Stadium for a two-game weekend set against No. 5 Portland on Friday, Sept. 16 and Rice on Sunday, Sept. 18.
