Soccer cracks NSCAA top 25
MISSION, Kan. -- After collecting two wins and three shutouts during its first four games of the 2005 season, The University of Texas women's soccer team earned a No. 22 national ranking from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
While it marked the first time this year that the Longhorns have held an NSCAA national ranking, it was also the program's first time to crack the NSCAA top 25 since the end of the 2004 campaign when UT was positioned at No. 16.
Up next, the Longhorns (2-1-1) travel to Provo, Utah, for a 8:30 p.m. Central match with BYU.
