Ranked as one of the top 25 women's soccer recruits in the country by Soccer America, midfielder Caitlin Kennedy is expected to make an immediate impact on the Longhorns efforts in 2004. An extremely versatile player, Kennedy is is not only very athletic, but also possesses quality ball skills and outstanding speed in order to contribute on both ends of the field. This native of Euless, Texas, recently sat down to answer 20 questions for www.TexasSports.com.

1. Who inspired you to play soccer?
"My dad. He took me to rec soccer practice when I was little and I just liked it."

2. What's your pet peeve?
"When people quote movies they haven't seen."

3. What book are you currently reading?
"The DaVinci Code."

4. What's the last concert you attended?
"I saw Pat Green in Dallas."

5. Who's your favorite musical act?
"Linkin Park."

6. What's your best feature?
"I'm easy to get along with."

7. What interesting places have you visited?
"Milan and Como, Italy, and New York City."

8. What's your favorite restaurant?
"I would have to say Outback Steakhouse, but I don't like the Blooming Onion."

9. Who is someone you've always wanted to meet?
"The Pope."

10. What's your favorite cartoon?
"The Flintstones."

11. Morning person or night owl?
"Night owl."

12. If you could be any superhero for a day, who would it be?
"Wonder Woman."

13. What's your dream job?
"Traveling and reporting like Brooke Burke on E!'s 'Wild On.'"

14. What are your hobbies?
"Shopping, working out and watching movies."

15. Do you have any phobias?
"Confined spaces and heights."

16. What's your nickname?
"Cait-to-the-lyn,' and my mom also calls me 'Bo,' but I'm not sure why."

17. What makes you laugh?
"People and the movie 'Napoleon Dynamite.'"

"A mix CD with Yellowcard, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson and others."

19. What should people know about you?
"I come off shy, but I'm really friendly and fun."

"As a hard worker, and that I'd do anything for my teammates."
