Soccer vs. TCU in lightning delay
With less than seven minutes remaining in the first half, Friday night's Texas vs. TCU soccer match at Mike A. Myers Stadium was interrupted by lightning in the area. The game is currently delayed until 9:30 p.m. CT barring any further inclement weather in the immediate vicinity. The Longhorns scored first as NSCAA All-American and Texas junior defender Kasey Moore found the back of the net 26 minutes, 48 seconds into the match. U.S. National Team standout and fellow junior defender Stephanie Logterman set up the play when she fired a shot that was blocked by TCU's goalkeeper Kelsey Vross. Seconds later, Moore put in the rebound to give the Longhorns the lead in the game.
