Each week TexasSports.com will catch up with a different UT player to get their perspectives about soccer and the off-season, as well as some interesting facts about themselves. This week's player is junior midfielder Priscilla Fite. While this Irving, Texas, native is looking forward to being a key contributor for her team in the upcoming season, she has also found other ways to get involved on campus.
What are your hopes for the upcoming season?
"I'm really excited that most of the same players from the 2005 team are returning next year. As a midfielder, I hope to contribute more on the field and play a greater role in scoring."
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
"I really want to visit all of Europe. I really love the beach and have heard that Croatia and Spain's beaches are beautiful, so I would especially like to travel to those two countries."
Is there a certain TV show you like to watch every week?
"There really isn't a show that I absolutely must see weekly right now. I used to watch "Friends" all the time when it was on every Thursday, but now I just catch re-runs on occasion."
What other organizations are you involved with on campus?
"Besides soccer, I am also involved with Christians on Campus, which has been a great way for me to meet other students with similar interests at UT."
