- coxed the second novice eight crew
- guided two boats at the Head of the Hooch (Nov.6-7, 2011) including the second novice eight boat, which finished third (18:04.4)
- aided the second novice boat to a fifth-place finish (32:13.1) at the Fighting Nutria (Feb. 12, 2011)
- coxed the first novice four boat to a win at the Heart of Texas (March 5, 2011) ... led the second novice eight boat and took second (3:16.45) in the novice division
- paced the second novice eight crew to a win over Iowa (7:40.8) and two over Wisconsin (8:11.5 and 7:09.7) at the Longhorn Invitational (March 18-20, 2011)
- helped Texas' first novice boat to a win over Kansas at the dual meet (April 2, 2011)
- recorded one win at the Virginia Invitational (April 16, 2011) over Clemson, 8.18.2-to-8:35.7
- advanced UT's second novice eight boat to a win (7:37.9) at the Big 12 Championships (April 30, 2011)
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10)
- rowed Texas' second and third novice boats for five races

Played volleyball at Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas (2005-2007) ... member of district championship teams in 2005, 2006 and 2007 ... National Honor Society and Bellaire Chinese Club member.
