Longhorn Network to air Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational telecast Thursday

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Longhorn Network is set to broadcast a two-hour, tape-delayed broadcast of the 2012 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational Thursday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. Central. Part One of the broadcast was originally scheduled to air Wednesday, but was moved to Thursday evening due to LHN’s tribute programming to former Texas football head coach Darrell K Royal who passed away earlier today. Will Haskett (play-by-play) and Phil Blackmar (analyst) will handle the call on the broadcasts. The Longhorns (297-289-304=890, +26) concluded their fall season with a sixth-place showing in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational last week at The University of Texas Golf Club. Sophomore Bertine Strauss collected UT’s top individual finish with a tie for 15th place at 3-over-par 219.
