Last Year: Last year the Longhorns did not compete at the Derby Invitational.

Last Time Out: A mixed team of current and former players, along with University of Texas head coach Susan Watkins, took the trophy home at the first-ever Weis Cup at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin.

The current players team won 10.5 to 7.5 after the 18-hole, four-ball tournament. The current players took three matches to two by the alumni team, with the final of six groups tying on the final hole.
