Women's Golf incoming freshman Lee-Bentham captures 2010 Royale Cup Canadian Junior Girls Championship

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Women's Golf incoming freshman Rebecca Lee-Bentham captured the 2010 Royale Cup Canadian Junior Girls Championship at Sawmill Creek Resort in Camlachie, Ontario, on Aug. 6. Lee-Bentham (73-68-67-70=278, -6) entered the final round of the 72-hole championship event with a two-stroke lead. Her fourth round began with three birdies, which put her four strokes ahead of eventual co-runner-up Taylor Kim. Lee-Bentham survived a pair of bogeys on the back nine and maintained her original two-stroke lead throughout the round for the win.
