Pressel earns Golfweek All-America honors

ORLANDO, Fla. – Golfweek selected Texas sophomore Madison Pressel to its NCAA Division I Women’s All-America team, the publication announced. A first-time honoree, Pressel earned an honorable mention All-America selection. The Big 12 Women’s Golfer of the Year, Pressel claimed medalist honors at the Big 12 Championship (April 22-24) with a three-round score of 8-under-par 208 (71-66-71). Her 54-hole total and second-round 66 established Championship records. Pressel helped propel the Longhorns to their third Big 12 title and first since 2004. The Boca Raton, Fla.-native also notched a fourth-place tie at the prestigious PING ASU Invitational (April 1-3) while helping UT to a fourth-place team finish. The sophomore recorded four top-10 finishes last season and finished in the top 20 in six of her nine starts. FIRST TEAM SECOND TEAM THIRD TEAM
