"I first found out about Kristin while I was living in Colorado," said head coach Susan Watkins. "I've been keeping up on her for a long time and we are certainly excited that she has decided to join us in Austin."
Walla was third on Colorado's State 4A scoring list with an average of 78.4 as a senior at Aspen HS. She won her fourth consecutive 4A Western Slope regional championship by five strokes on May 11.
