AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas women's golf head coach Susan Watkins announced Wednesday the addition of Alexandra Richards (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis HS) to National Letter of Intent for the 2006-07 year. Richards joins Raelyn Smith ( Odessa, Texas/Permian HS) and Brittany Tomerlin ( San Angelo, Texas/ San Angelo Central HS) in next year's freshmen class, as they both signed earlier with Texas.

Richards is a three-time All-State honoree and a two-time district medalist (2006 and 2005). She placed sixth at the Texas State Junior Championships in 2004. She has four top 10 finishes in AJGA competition, overall; two of them were in 2005.
