Women's Golf preview: Arizona Wildcat Invitational
WHAT: Texas continues its 2008 spring season at the 16-team Arizona Wildcat Invitational. WHERE: Arizona National Golf Club - Tucson, Ariz. WHEN: The tournament field will play 18 holes each day from Monday, Feb. 25 through Wednesday, Feb. 27. Texas will tee off on Monday at 9:10 a.m. Central. WHO: The tournament features host Arizona, Texas, Arizona State, Auburn, BYU, California, Duke, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, USC, Stanford, UCLA, UNLV, Vanderbilt and Washington. TEXAS STARTERS: UT coach Martha Richards will start seniors Ashley Rollins and Julia Best, juniors Caney Hines and Kristin Walla and sophomore Shannon Fish. LAST TIME OUT: Texas placed fifth at the 15-team Central District Invitational. Senior Ashley Rollins tied for third place at five-over par.
