FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- The University of Texas Women’s Golf team (294-293-291) fired a final-round score of 3-over-par 291 in the Mason Rudolph Championship to finish the event in 13th place at 14-over 878. Junior Nicole Vandermade (70-71-72) led the Longhorns on the individual leaderboard at 3-under 213 to finish in 20th place.

Vandermade carded her third par-or-better round in as many days during Sunday’s finale at Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course. Her final-round scorecard of even-par 72 included two birdies and two bogeys. Throughout 54 holes, Vandermade made 11 birdies, eight bogeys and 35 pars.

Sophomores Madison Pressel (75-71-74) and Haley Stephens (70-77-73) tied for 44th place at 4-over 220. Sophomore Katelyn Sepmoree (81-74-72) also shot even-par 72 on Sunday and finished at 11-over 227 and in 71st place. Freshman Rebecca Lee-Bentham (79-81-82=242) rounded out the Texas team in a tie for 88th place.

Junior Megan Rosenfeld (77-78-73) saved her best round of the competition for Sunday – 1-over 73 – and tied for 72nd place at 12-over 228 while competing as an individual for UT.

LSU (278-282-283) claimed a wire-to-wire team victory at 21-under 843. Purdue (279-282-284=845, -19) trailed by two strokes and finished in second place, while Southern California (286-287-278) and UCLA (284-288-279) tied for third place at 13-under 851.

The Longhorns will remain idle until Oct. 11-13 when they travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the 54-hole Dale McNamara Invitational.
