Texas slipped from 12th place to 14th place after shooting a 34-over 318 in Tuesday's second round and ending the day at 54-over par. Oklahoma State leads the event at 18-over par, and Duke's Amanda Blumenherst leads individually at two-under par.
Rollins (Austin, Texas) opened with a 40 on the back nine but rebounded with a 35 on the front nine to card the four-over 75. Rollins heads into Wednesday's final round tied for 24th place with a nine-over 151.
Senior Julia Best (Bulverde, Texas) shot an eight-over 79 in round two and is tied for 38th place at 12-over par. Junior Caney Hines (San Antonio, Texas) carded a nine-over 80 in the second round and is tied for 45th place at 13-over par.

Texas Coach Martha Richards
"We played some really, really good golf today, but unfortunately, that was not reflected in our scores. Ashley Rollins had a great round in very tough conditions. The good news is we're playing a lot of good golf and we're really close to shooting some good numbers. You won't play a golf course where scoring was more difficult than this one today with these conditions. It's very difficult even when the wind isn't blowing, but particularly tough today. I would have liked to have seen us finish stronger, but I'm pleased with the effort and how hard they fought. If we can keep fighting and stay patient, we can move ahead of some people tomorrow. We're growing up as a team. In the fall, we would have had higher numbers on conditions like today's. We played a lot of very good golf."
