Pregame youth activities, Santa visit at Longhorns Kids Court Sunday
All fans of Texas women’s basketball are reminded that the Longhorns Kids Court, a FREE pregame activity center for youth 18 and under, is open before EVERY Longhorns home game. Shoe Carnival is sponsoring this year’s Longhorns Kids Court at Cooley Pavilion, which is located adjacent to the Frank Erwin Center (site of all UT basketball games). This Sunday, Dec. 15, prior to the 2 p.m. game between No. 20 Texas (7-2) and Louisiana-Lafayette (3-4), there will be a special appearance from Santa Claus at the Longhorns Kids Court. The Longhorns Kids Court will open at 12:30 p.m. this Sunday. Longhorns Kids Court opens 90 minutes before tipoff for all of the regular season women’s home basketball games. It closes 15 minutes before tipoff to allow patrons to get into the game. Activities offered at the Longhorns Kids Court include inflatables, basketball hoops of all kinds and sizes for the youngest to oldest child, face painting and contests. Again, there is NO CHARGE for attending the Longhorns Kids Court.
