Big 12 Conference announces 2012-13 FSN Women's Basketball telecast schedule

IRVING, Texas -- The University of Texas Women’s Basketball team will appear nationally on FSN (Fox Sports Net) at least five times during the 2012-13 season, the Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday. Four of the Longhorns’ appearances will be league games as part of the Big 12’s television package with the national network. FSN will also broadcast Texas’ home matchup with Tennessee. Three of UT’s home contests have been selected by FSN for national audiences. In addition to the Tennessee game (Dec. 16, 1 p.m.), the Longhorns will be televised when they host Oklahoma (Jan. 5, 12:30 p.m.) and Oklahoma State (Jan. 13, 11:30 a.m.). The network will also air road contests at TCU (Feb. 2, 11:30 a.m.) and Texas Tech (Feb. 17, 2:30 p.m.). Seven Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship matchups are also included in the package. The postseason tournament quarterfinal games will be televised by FSN for the 12th consecutive year, in addition to the semifinals and final which have been aired by the network every year since the inception of the Conference in 1996-97. 2012-13 Texas Women’s Basketball FSN Television Schedule (all times Central)
