Women's Basketball announces exhibition contest set for Oct. 27
Aug. 30, 2011 AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas Women's Basketball team has announced an exhibition contest on Thursday, Oct. 27 against St. Edwards University to begin the 2011-12 season. Game time at the Frank Erwin Center will be announced at a later date. The Longhorns open regular season play with a three-game homestand beginning on Friday, Nov. 11 against Stanford. Texas also hosts Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 14) and Alcorn State (Nov. 20) in its first contests of the season. The Horns are scheduled to open Big 12 Conference play on Wednesday Jan. 4, 2012 at home against Kansas.
