Tiffany Jackson #3 New York Liberty
Forward Tiffany Jackson went five-of-five from the field in the New York Liberty's 80-73 victory over the Washington Mystics, July 23. Jackson came off the bench to be the team's leading scorer with 14 points and six rebounds.

On July 19, Jackson and the Liberty took on the Indiana Fever at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, the home of tennis' U.S. open, in the first professional basketball game played outdoors. The game was a fundraising event for breast cancer research. Jackson hit three field goals to put up six points in the 71-55 loss to the Fever. The Fever currently hold fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings just behind the third place Liberty.

Jamie Carey #10 Connecticut Sun
Point guard Jamie Carey, the longest tenured player for the Sun, recorded six points off the bench in Connecticut's 74-67 win over the Chicago Sky, July 20. Carey knocked down two three-pointers, the second of which put the Sun up 62-56 with seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The Sun remain in second place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 14-10 record.

The Connecticut Sun will host the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday, July 24 at 6 p.m. CT.
