Women's Basketball signee Kristen Nash to play in Texas-Oklahoma all-star game
AUSTIN, Texas -- University of Texas women's basketball signee Kristen Nash (Plano, Texas/Plano West) will wrap up her prep career this weekend by participating in the Texas-Oklahoma All-Star Game in Lubbock.
Nash, a 6-3 forward, will represent her home state in the game slated for Saturday, July 22 at the Rip Griffin Center on the campus of Lubbock Christian University. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CDT.
Nash, who will wear No. 32 at Texas, helped lead Plano West High School to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 5A title during her senior season. She joins 6-1 forward Niqky Hughes (Waxahachie, Texas/Waxahachie), 5-11 guard-forward Gabby Mattox (Kountze, Texas/Kountze) and 6-0 guard Brittainey Raven (Fort Worth, Texas/North Crowley) to form the Longhorns' incoming freshman class.
