· (Thriva.com) AUSTIN, Texas -- Attention all rising 3rd-8th grade girls. Looking for a way to beat the heat and develop your basketball skills from some of the best in the business? Come spend July 28-31 (Monday-Thursday) at The University of Texas Longhorns Girls Basketball Day Camp. Daily camp sessions run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and the cost for the four-day event is just $175 per camper. The day camp provides campers with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills while offering an atmosphere that fosters cooperative learning and enthusiasm. Campers will participate in teaching stations and play games to utilize learned skills. All campers will receive a Nike camp T-shirt and a Nike basketball. The camp features a 1-to-15 staff-to-camper ratio, skills and motivational speeches along with daily individual and team competition.
