Tip time set for Women's Basketball NCAA First Round game

The Longhorns (22-10, 10-6 Big 12), the No. 6 seed in the Memphis Region, will play No. 11 seed San Diego State (21-10, 10-6 Mountain West Conference). Should Texas advance to the Second Round, it would face the winner of Sunday's West Virginia-Lamar game. UT's game on Sunday will be played at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin and will be televised nationally by ESPN2. This marks the third consecutive and 24th overall appearance by the Longhorns in the NCAA Tournament. UT's 24 appearances tie it for the fourth-most NCAA showings along with Stanford and Virginia.
