Tip time set for Women's Basketball NCAA First Round game

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The tip-off time for The University of Texas' NCAA First Round contest on Saturday, March 19 has been set for 12:30 p.m. Central (1:30 local), ESPN television announced tonight. The Longhorns (19-13, 7-9 Big 12), the No. 9 seed in the Dayton Regional, will play Marquette (23-8, 10-6 BIG EAST), the No. 8 seed. Should Texas advance to the Second Round, it would face the winner of Saturday's Tennessee-Stetson game. UT's game on Saturday will be played at Thompson-Boling Arena and will be televised nationally by ESPN2 and live streamed on ESPN3.com. This marks the fourth consecutive and 25th overall appearance by the Longhorns in the NCAA Tournament. UT's 25 appearances tie it for the third-most NCAA showings along with Stanford.
