Tip time set for Women's Basketball's NCAA First Round game

NORFOLK, Va. -- The tip-off time for The University of Texas' NCAA First Round contest on Saturday, March 17 has been set for 10:10 a.m. Central (11:10 local), ESPN television announced tonight. The Longhorns (18-13, 8-10 Big 12), the No. 9 seed in the Fresno Regional, will play West Virginia (23-9, 11-5 BIG EAST), the No. 8 seed. Should Texas advance to the Second Round, it would face the winner of Saturday's Stanford-Hampton game. UT's game on Saturday will be played at Ted Constant Convocation Center and will be televised nationally by ESPN2 and live streamed on ESPN3.com.
This marks the fifth consecutive and 26th overall appearance by the Longhorns in the NCAA Tournament. UT's 26 appearances tie it for the third-most NCAA showings along with Stanford.
