Feb. 16, 2010
AUSTIN, Texas -- Young fans and friends of Texas Women’s Basketball are invited to the Longhorns Kids Court on Wednesday, Feb. 17, for a special offer. The first 100 kids get a FREE youth t-shirt, courtesy of UT Athletics. (One per person, sizes are limited and not guaranteed) Longhorns Kids Court is a pregame event for all young Longhorns fans ages 18 and under and their families. Admission is free, and is held at the Cooley Pavilion adjacent to the Frank Erwin Center (site of all UT home games). Activities offered during this event include inflatables, basketball hoops for younger and older children, face painting and other contests. Hook ‘Em, the UT mascot, will also be in attendance. Longhorns Kids Court opens 90 minutes before tipoff, and closes 15 minutes prior to tipoff to allow patrons to enter the Erwin Center for the game. For those interested in attending Longhorns Kids Court, follow the signs outside the Erwin Center (on the concourse level) into Cooley Pavilion. From Red River St., go up the stairs which separate the Erwin Center and Cooley Pavilion; if you are coming to the game and walking from the south side of the Erwin Center, you can use the walkway to the concourse level of the Erwin Center and enter Cooley Pavilion from that side. The Longhorns Kids Court will hold pregame activities only two more times this season:
