• BLOCK PARTY ... Texas' 5.1 bpg ranks second among all Big 12 Conference teams and is also No. 18 nationally (through all games Feb. 3). Freshman center Imani McGee-Stafford leads all league freshmen with an average of 2.5 bpg, a mark that ranks 16th among all NCAA Division I players and third overall in the conference.

• BACK-TO-BACK FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK ... Freshman center Imani McGee-Stafford is the reigning  Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week (Feb. 4) after scoring a career-high 23 points and had 13 rebounds for her eighth double-double of her rookie campaign in the Longhorns' 61-56 win over TCU (Feb. 2). McGee-Stafford also added seven blocked shots, her most in a Big 12 contest. This is her second honor in as many weeks.

Texas vs. Baylor
Saturday's contest marks the 83rd meeting between I-35 foes Texas and Baylor. Texas holds a 57-25 advantage in the all-time series that began on Jan. 21, 1975, with a 116-62 Baylor win in Austin. Texas leads the series 27-8 when the teams meet in Austin. The Longhorns last defeated the Lady Bears on their home court on Jan. 31, 2010, in a 61-50 decision. Texas was the only Big 12 Conference team to sweep the regular-season series against Baylor during the 2009-10 season.

Flashback: at No. 1/1 Baylor [Feb. 21, 2012]
Brittney Griner had 18 points with 10 rebounds and top-ranked Baylor claimed the outright Big 12 title with an 80-59 victory over Texas on Tuesday night. Kimetria Hayden had 17 points in 21 minutes for the Lady Bears, and Brooklyn Pope had 13 points. Destiny Williams had 11 points and 10 rebounds for her 11th double-double in 52 career games. Yvonne Anderson had 16 points to lead Texas. Chassidy Fussell had 13 points and 13 rebounds for her first career double-double. Baylor jumped out to a 15-3 lead in the first 7 minutes. The only points for the Longhorns during that stretch came on Fussell's 3-pointer from the right wing 2 1/2 minutes into the game. They then missed eight shots in a row over the next 5 minutes before Fussell finally made a jumper. After Pope's strong move inside for a layup with 10:35 left in the first half put the Lady Bears up 18-7, they maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the game. Three Texas starters were scoreless at halftime, when the Longhorns trailed 40-20 and were shooting only 21 percent (8 of 39). They finished shooting 34 percent (25 of 73). 

Last Time Out: vs. No. 25/24 Iowa State [Feb. 6, 2013]
Anna Prins scored 19 points, Nikki Moody added 15 and No. 25 Iowa State rolled to a 67-48 victory at Big 12 Conference foe Texas on Wednesday night. Brynn Williamson chipped in 12 points, all from 3-point range, and a team-high seven rebounds for the Cyclones, who shot 49 percent from the floor and were 10 of 24 from beyond the arc. Moody had seven assists and four steals. Empress Davenport had 13 points for the Longhorns, and Celina Rodrigo and Chassidy Fussell scored 10 apiece. Texas, which entered the game ranked eighth in Division I with a plus-10.9 rebounding margin, was outrebounded 32-31. The Longhorns scored the game's first basket, but that was their only lead. Texas closed within 25-24 on Fussell's fast-break layup with 4:27 left before halftime, but Iowa State closed the half on a 14-0 run and cruised from there.   

Double-Double Duo
Sophomore forward Nneka Enemkpali registered her league-best 10th double-double of the season against the Horned Frogs (Feb. 2), and freshman center Imani McGee-Stafford added her eighth, which is tied for third-most among all league players. 

Rebound Retrievers
Texas' +10.3 rebound margin is ranked eighth nationally among 343 NCAA Division I teams (thru games Feb. 3) and second among all Big 12 Conference teams. UT leads the league with 45.1 rpg. 

Outworking Opponents on the Boards
Texas ranks second in the Big 12 Conference with a +10.3 rebound margin. Additionally, the Horns are pulling down a league-best 45.1 rpg through 21 contests. UT has outrebounded all but six of 20 opponents. Texas' rebound margin ranks No. 8 among all NCAA Division I teams (as of Feb. 3), and sophomore Nneka Enemkpali ranks 33rd nationally with 10.0 rpg and first among all league players. 

Enemkpali One of a Kind
Sophomore Nneka Enemkpali is the only  player in the Big 12 Conference averaging a double-double through all games this season. She leads the league with 10.0 rpg and is the ninth-leading scorer with 14.0 ppg. 

Trio Standing Out in Big 12 Play
Three starters are leading the Longhorns in scoring and rebounding in Big 12 Conference action. Sophomore forward Nneka Enemkpali leads the Horns with 12.4 ppg and is pulling down 8.2 rpg. Junior guard Chassidy Fussell is second in scoring with 12.1 ppg and is averaging 6.1 rpg. Freshman center Imani McGee-Stafford is averaging a team-best 8.8 rpg and is third in scoring with 10.8 ppg.
