• What Have You Done For me Lately? ... Sophomore guard Chassidy Fussell is leading the Longhorns in scoring and rebounding over the last three games. Entering Saturday’s game at Texas Tech, Fussell is averaging a team-best 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game over the stretch.
• Stingy D ... Texas held Missouri to just 28.8 percent (15-52) from the field to mark the fifth time it has held an opponent to under 30% FG shooting. The Longhorns rank third among all Big 12 Conference teams in field-goal percentage defense at 33.8 percent (389-1150).
• Five in a Row ... Texas has won the last five contests against Texas Tech including the last two meetings in Lubbock.
• Enemkpali Earns Conference Honors ... Nneka Enemkpali was tabbed the Phillips 66 Big 12 Co-Freshmen of the Week (Jan. 24) after averaging 7.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in Texas’ win over Iowa State and loss at Oklahoma last week. She earned her first two starts of the season and averaged 24 minutes of playing time. The forward recorded a season-high nine points at OU and was one of UT’s co-leaders on the boards with eight rebounds.
Series vs. Texas Tech
Saturday’s contest marks the 86th meeting between Texas and Texas Tech. Texas holds a 60-25 advantage in the all-time series that began on Jan. 15, 1977. The Longhorns have won the last five contests against the Lady Raiders including a 95-90 double overtime win on Jan. 16, 2010 and a 75-67 decision on Jan. 26, 2011, both at the United Spirit Arena. Texas is 19-15 against Texas Tech when the teams meet in Lubbock.

Flashback: vs. Texas Tech (March 2, 2011)
Chassidy Fussell scored a game-high 23 points to lead four Longhorns in double-digit scoring, as Texas defeated Texas Tech 83-59. UT shot 55 percent from the field – the Longhorns’ best mark of the 2010-11 season. Yvonne Anderson scored 19 points, Ashley Gayle added 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Ashleigh Fontenette scored 12 on 6-of-9 shooting. After Tech shot 52 percent in the first half, the UT defense, also sparked by Fussell, held the Lady Raiders to 42 percent shooting from the field in the second half. After hitting two free throws to break a 45-45 tie, Fussell then stole the in-bounds pass, which set up a Kristen Nash jumper that put UT out front 49-45. UT then scored nine unanswered points to extend the lead to 58-45 with 11:51 to play.
Last Time Out: vs. Missouri (Jan. 25, 2012)
Chassidy Fussell scored 22 points and Yvonne Anderson added 18 to spur Texas to a 75-58 victory over the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday night at the Frank Erwin Center. The Longhorns scored the game’s first 11 points and opened the second half with a 15-2 run to pull away from Missouri. UT never trailed in the game and led by as many as 22 points. Christine Flores led the Tigers with 12 points and eight rebounds. BreAnna Brock posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Missouri shot 28.8 percent from the field on the night.

Texas is averaging 15.0 turnovers per game in league games compared to 18.4 in non-conference action. The Longhorns committed a season-low 10 turnovers against Missouri (Jan. 25).
