UT freshman guard Kat Nash is emerging as one of the Big 12's top rookie players ... The 6-2 Nash has been primarily used as UT's sixth man, coming off the bench 12 times and starting seven contests ... She is third in Texas overall scoring (9.9 ppg) and second in rebounding (7.2) .... Among all Big 12 players in conference stats, Nash ranks fourth in free throw percentage, hitting 13 of 15 FT's (.867) through five league games .. She also is fifth in league 3-point percentage ( .444, 8-18) and 10th in 3-pointers made (1.8 per game)... Among all freshmen players in conference games, Nash has put up some of the best numbers of all Big 12 rookies ... She is second among all freshmen in conference rebounding (7.0 rpg), fifth in scoring (9.4 ppg), fourth in assists (1.6 apg) and sixth in 3-point percentage (.444).

Sophomore guard and co-captain Brittainey Raven leads UT in scoring (16.1 ppg) and is the only Longhorn to notch double-digit scoring all 19 games ... Raven also has come up big on the boards lately with 38 in the last seven games for a 5.6 rpg in this span ... She also is 54 for 72 from the foul line (75 percent) in the last 14 games ... Raven has led UT in scoring 11 times (including once tied for the lead) and has five or more assists four times.
Junior post Ashley Lindsey (11.1 ppg, team-high 7.2 rpg) had a career-high seven blocks against Nebraska on Jan. 9 (prior high was six) ... With 56 blocks to date, she averages 2.95 bpg to rank No. 10 nationally ... Lindsey also pulled down 10 or more rebounds in four of the last eight games and has all three of her double-doubles this season in this seven-game span ... Lindsey has led UT in rebounding 10 times in the 19 games, and in 12 games she has collected three or more blocks... She had an 15-point, 11-rebound effort against Kansas State last Sunday... In the five Big 12 games, Lindsey averages 10.8 points, 8.2 rebounds (fourth in the conference) and a Big 12-leading 3.6 blocks per contest.
