Women's Basketball crosses the Red River to face No. 13 Oklahoma tonight
NORMAN, Okla. -- The Texas women's basketball team puts its four-game win streak on the line Wednesday (Jan. 25) night when it meets No. 13 Oklahoma (15-4) at Lloyd Noble Center on the OU campus in Norman. The Longhorns stand 10-6 overall and are 4-2 in the Big 12 as UT squares off against Big 12 leader Oklahoma (5-0 in the Big 12). The game will be televised live on CSTV (College Sports TV) and also will be carried on KVET Radio (1300 AM) in the Central Texas area and on the internet (at TexasSports.com) via subscription. Texas won all three games last year against the Sooners. The Longhorns are paced by this week's Big 12 Player of the Week -- 6-3 junior Tiffany Jackson. Jackson is averaging a double-double in Big 12 action with 17.0 ppg and 11.3 rpg.
