Women's Basketball vs. Texas A&M game in February chosen for FSN telecast
IRVING, Texas -- The Big 12 Conference and FSN (FOX Sports Net) have announced the confirmation of two women's basketball broadcast windows for Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007. Added to the FSN national schedule will be Texas at Texas A&M at 6 p.m. CST, followed by Baylor at Oklahoma at 8 p.m. CST. These two broadcasts are in addition to the Oklahoma State at Kansas State game scheduled for FSN-Midwest at 6 p.m. CST on that date. This FSN TV addition gives the No. 22 Longhorns 11 appearances on national TV during the 2006-07 regular season, with five games on FSN, two on ESPN2, two on ESPNU and two on CSTV (College Sports TV). In addition, the Longhorns have or will appear on FSNSW (FOX Sports Southwest) a total of three times, and also were on the Mountain West TV affiliate (the mtn) against New Mexico and on Central Iowa's Mediacom telecast against Iowa State. In total, Texas women's basketball will be televised a total of 16 times in regular season play. During the 2006-07 season, teams from the Big 12 are scheduled for 27 appearances on FSN as part of the Big 12's women's basketball television package with the network.
