Women's Basketball game against Iowa State moved to Thursday, Jan. 18
AUSTIN, Texas -- The Big 12 women's basketball game between No. 22 Texas and Iowa State which was originally scheduled to be played Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 18, due to inclement weather and an ice storm in Texas which prevented the Longhorns from traveling Tuesday. The Longhorns, ranked 22nd in the Associated Press poll and No. 24 in this week's USA Today/ESPN poll, will bring their 13-4 overall record, 2-1 Big 12 mark and three-game win streak into Thursday's contest with the Cyclones (13-4, 1-3). The Texas-ISU game will be broadcast live on KVET Radio (1300 AM) in Central Texas and via the Internet on subscription-based Yahoo!Sports College Broadcast.
