NOTE: For all Texas women's basketball season ticket holders and fans: in order to sit in the special Texas seating section during the Big 12 Tournament, you must purchase your tickets through the UT Athletics Ticket Office! Orders will only be taken by phone 512-471-3333, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 16. (see information below).
DALLAS -- All-Session tickets for the 2006 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship are currently on sale. The women's championship will be held Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday, March 7-9 & 11 at Dallas' Reunion Arena.
Prices for All-Session tickets are $75 for reserved seats and $50 for general admission for the 11-game tournament. Reserved seats are lower and upper deck between the baselines. General admission seats are lower and upper deck behind the goals. Groups of 10 or more can email groupsales@americanairlinescenter.com for group discounts.
NOTE FOR ALL TEXAS BASKETBALL FANS:
The UT Athletics Ticket Office will be selling the TEXAS BLOCK OF TICKETS, beginning at 9 a.m. (Central) on Monday, Jan. 16. There are two options of ticket purchases: a Reserved Seat All-Session package ($75 per package, no discounts); or, a General Admission All-Session package ($50; these general admission tickets are located in the upper portion of the lower deck, behind the baskets).
All Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship orders will be filled in priority as outlined below.
1) Season Ticket Holders in the following priority: a) Longhorn Foundation Members, b) Letterwinners, c) Voting Faculty or Code 1000 Employees of The University of Texas, d) Ex-Students' Association Members and e) General Public. Note that each patron has priority on four tickets.
2) Non-Season Ticket Holders in the following priority: a) Longhorn Foundation Members, b) Letterwinners, c) Voting Faculty or Code 1000 Employees of The University of Texas, d) Ex-Students' Association Members and e) General Public.
The priority handling deadline for ticket requests is February 10, 2006. All ticket requests must be in the Athletics Ticket Office by 5:00 p.m. CST that day. During the following week, the ticket office will process and mail orders. The Texas Athletics Ticket Office will mail all tickets unless they are requested to be held in "will call" at Reunion Arena.
For those fans who wish to PURCHASE TICKETS OUTSIDE THE TEXAS FAN BLOCK OF TICKETS: Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by calling 214-373-8000. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the American Airlines Center box office Mondays-Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (CST).
All fans traveling to Dallas can get access to discounted hotel rooms at or by calling 1-800-792-1029.
Reunion Arena and Dallas are hosting the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship for the third time in four years.
