AUSTIN, Texas -- The University of Texas has announced the start of "The Coach G Show presented by Lamb's Tire & Automotive," an hour-long radio program that will air live five times between January and March 2010 with head coach Gail Goestenkors.
The Coach G Show will broadcast live on 1300 The Zone and TexasSports.com from Cover 3 Restaurant and Bar on 2700 West Anderson Lane. Craig Way, "Voice of the Longhorns," will serve as the show's host.
Fans are invited to join Coach G at Cover 3 Restaurant and Bar for the inaugural show on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. CT. Coach G will answer questions and discuss the upcoming Big 12 Conference games. For those unable to attend, they may submit their questions via email (askcoach@imgworld.com) or call in live during the show.
Additional broadcasts are scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26, Tuesday, Feb. 16, Monday, Feb. 22 and either Tuesday March 2 or March 9. All broadcasts will begin at 7 p.m.
