AUSTIN, Texas -- The University of Texas announced Wednesday that UT's allotment of game tickets for Saturday's (Jan. 7th) Big 12 women's basketball game between No. 23 Texas and No. 4 Baylor at the Ferrell Center in Waco is SOLD OUT.
Fans who still wish to purchase tickets may do so by calling the Baylor University Athletic Ticket Office (254-710-1000 or 1-800-BAYLOR-U).
Saturday's game between the Longhorns and the defending NCAA titlists will begin at 3 p.m., and the game will be televised on FSN (FOX Sports Net) and broadcast on the radio and via the internet (on KVET Radio 1300 AM in the Central Texas area and via the internet on subscription-based Yahoo! Sports).
The No. 23 Longhorns, 6-5 overall and 0-1 in the Big 12, will conclude its three-game road swing with Saturday's game at Baylor's Ferrell Center. Baylor is ranked No. 4 and stands 10-0 overall as the Lady Bears open Big 12 play on Wednesday (Jan. 4) at Missouri. Texas opened its Big 12 slate on January 3rd in Lawrence, Kansas, falling to the Jayhawks by a 70-61 score.
For those fans who already purchased tickets through the UT Women's Basketball Office for the Texas-Baylor showdown, those tickets will be available for pick-up at the visiting team WILL CALL located outside of Gate 1 entrance at the Ferrell Center.
