Lisa Stalans is an Associate Athletic Trainer entering her third season with the Texas Women's Basketball team after joining UT's athletic training staff in 2000. Prior to her stint with student-athletes on the hardwood, Stalans spent nine seasons covering Texas' Soccer and Women'sTennis teams.
Before coming to the Forty Acres, Stalans worked at Tusculum College as an Associate Athletic Trainer. There she was responsible for medical coverage of all 14 intercollegiate sports, primarily football, and taught two classes in athletic training.
Stalans received her Master's in Public Health at South Carolina while working as an Intern Athletic Trainer assisting coverage of 11 sports, primarily Women's Soccer and Men and Women's Track & Field. She received her B.S. degree in Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology at Tennessee while working with the Women's Sports Medicine Department.
