Volley for a Cure and Kick for a Cure matches set for Oct. 22 and 23
Oct. 6, 2011
The Horns for Hope initiative for community enrichment is proud to help raise breast cancer awareness throughout the campus and community, and, most importantly, in people's hearts.
To combat an enemy that spares no one, we all have to be allies, even in the sporting arena. UT Athletics asks Longhorns fans and the Central Texas community to join us on Oct. 22-23 by wearing pink and supporting the cause. Texas Volleyball takes on the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. in the annual Volley for the a Cure match presented by AT&T. Texas Soccer will then take on Seattle in the inaugural Kick for a Cure on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m.
UT Athletics is offering special discounted tickets to both matches in order to educate the largest crowd possible about breast cancer awareness and breast health initiatives.
