Football vs. Rice to be played at Houston's Reliant Stadium

The 2010 Texas Football season kicks off in Houston as Rice University hosts the Longhorns. The game -- to be played at Reliant Stadium in Houston, home of the NFL's Houston Texans on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. -- marks the third time the teams have played at Reliant Stadium, with Texas winning 52-7 in 2006 and 48-7 in 2003. Help turn Reliant Stadium burnt orange and show your Longhorns pride by attending the game and other weekend activities. GAMEDAY TRAVEL INFORMATION From Austin • Online registration • Brochure and registration form Travel with the Flying Longhorns to the game from Austin and back on gameday. Buses leave from the Alumni Center at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, and return to Austin immediately following the conclusion of the game. Riders on the bus will arrive at Reliant Stadium in plenty of time to enjoy the Houston Texas Exes pregame party. Cost is $60 per person for Texas Exes members and $90 per person for non-members.
