Women's Basketball hosts fourth annual UT & Me Expo
Jan. 5, 2013 UT Athletics is hosting the fourth annual UT & Me Expo on the concourse of the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. prior to the Women's Basketball game vs. Kansas State at 1 p.m. This event is in celebration of the 27th National Girls and Women in Sports Day taking place on February 6, 2013. UT & Me is dedicated to empowering young girls to be active in school, sports, and life. Representatives from numerous girls youth organizations around the Central Texas community, including organizations at the University of Texas, come together to celebrate the achievement of girls and women in sports. They also energize girls with the confidence and courage it takes to reach their goals and achieve their greatest potential. This event will allow girls and their families the time to collect information and resources from campus and community organizations and learn about the endless opportunities the future holds.
