2006 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays notes: Day four

Invitational Men's 4x400m Relay - USA White sets a meet and stadium record. Jeremy Wariner had a 43.2 2nd leg for Waco All-Stars.

University Men's 4x400m Clyde Littlefield Relay - LSU SPLITS: 46.5, 45.4, 45.0, 45.4... LSU runs the fastest collegiate time of the year.

University Women's 4x400m Relay - Miami wins with the fastest collegiate time of the season. Texas A&M's Williams split 50.4 on the 2nd leg.

University Men's 4x400m Relay - HOUSTON SPLITS: 47.4, 45.4, 47.9, 46.1 (Jackson State had a 44.8 2nd leg, but dropped the baton on the final exchange)

Boys II 4x400m Relay - SPLITS: Cy Falls - 49.2, 48.1, 9.3, 46.8; Arl. Bowie - 49.1, 48.2, 49.7, 47.1

College Men's 4x400m Relay - SPLITS: ACU - 47.6, 46.3, 46.9, 46.7; BCC - 47.8, 46.4, 47.6, 47.4

Girls II 4x400m Relay - Wilson ties the meet record.

Girls I 4x400m Relay
- Stafford smashes the meet record it set in the prelims to defend its 2005 title.

Invitational 4x400m Relay - USA Red sets a meet record. Splits - 51.9, 51.5, 51.7, 50.7 USA White splits - 53.8, 52.4, 52.0, 53.4

Women's 1500m - McCandless took over the lead after Osburn carried the field through the first 400 in 71.5. She passed 800 in 2:22.7, and her third 400 was 68.5. McCandless held off Osburn's late charge with a 48.6 last 300 to take the win.

University Women's 100m  - Hooker runs the fastest time in the world this year.

Men's High Jump - Manson wins on fewer misses, avenging his NCAA indoor loss to USC's Williams.

Men's Shot Put - Anderson wins on his fourth attempt with a personal-best toss.

Women's Shot Put - Gerraughty sets a meet and stadium record.

Invitational Mens 110m Hurdles - Doucoure, the 2005 World Champion, had a slow start but worked his way through the field to record the fourth-fastest time in the world this year.

Women's 100m Hurdles - Lopes runs the fastest wind-legal collegiate time of the season.

Invitational Women's 4x100m Relay - South Florida Elite sets a meet and stadium record.

Girls II 4x100m Relay
- Wilson runs the fastest high school time of the season to win its fourth Relays 4x100 title.

Girls I 4x100m Relay - Dallas Madison equals the meet record.

University Women's 4x100m Relay - Texas wins its eighth straight 4x100 title with the fastest time in the world this year.

University Men's 4x100m Relay - LSU wins its third straight 4x100 title with the fastest collegiate time of the season. Texas dropped the baton on the final exchange.

Men's Javelin Throw - Brown repeats as champion with the best throw by a collegian this year.

Women's Pole Vault - Janson wins her first Relays title with the best height by a collegian this season.

Men's Distance Medley Relay - Texas wins its first DMR title. SPLITS: Texas - 2:59.6, 47.6, 1:50.7 (Miller), 4:10.7 (Manzano); Arkansas - 3:03.3, 48.1, 1:51.5, 4:08.1 (Boit)

Boys I 4x200m Relay - Giddings breaks its own meet record, set in the prelims. Splits - 22.2, 22.0, 21.3, 22.1. BII4x200 - Texas City wins its first Relays 4x200 title. Splits - 21.5, 21.6, 22.3, 20.5 (Prevost).

Girls II 4x200m Relay - Wilson wins its fifth Relays 4x200 title. Splits - 24.8, 22.5, 22.6, 25.8 (bad handoff).

Girls I 4x200m Relay - Louisville sets a meet record. The top four teams bettered the previous record.

Women's 4x200m Relay - LSU wins its sixth 4x200 title. Splits - 22.7, 24.5 (bad handoff), 22.0, 23.5.

Women's 400m Hurdles - Walker's time is the fastest this year by a collegian. She covered the first 200 meters in 25.4, before Darden edged ahead for the next three hurdles. Walker moved back into the lead and had the fastest finish to grab the win. In 2005, she won the invitational 400H here.

Men's 400m Hurdles - Tinsley sets a meet and stadium record, breaking the 25-year-old Relays record of 49.20. His time is the fourth-fastest in the world this year, and the fastest by an American.
