Mithoff named Honorary Referee for the 84th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays

Acclaimed trial lawyer and University of Texas and UT Law alum Richard Mithoff has been named this year's Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Honorary Referee. Mithoff, who is the namesake of the UT track and field and soccer field house has generously donated to the University and its athletic programs.
Mithoff has endowed a series of scholarships at UT, including a Presidential Scholarship in law for educationally, socially and culturally disadvantaged students at the UT Law School, a Presidential Scholarship for disabled students at UT Business School and an endowed professorship in neonatal/perinatal medicine at the UT School of Medicine.
In his career of practicing law, Mithoff has been named Best Civil Lawyer in Houston by The Houston Press on two occasions (1998, 2004) and the Texas Bar Association's Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2006.
Mithoff will be honored at this year's Honorary Referee Brunch on Saturday, April 9th.
