On the victory: It feels real good. I just came out here trying to do my job, doing what I do at practice and came out with the victory.
On running in such a competitive field: I knew I had to run. I couldn't focus on them. I just had to focus on myself, and I knew I could come out with the victory.

On the win: It feels good. My freshman year I ran the 100 m and I came in second, so it's great to come out here in front of this many fans and show them what I've got.

On the close finish: At the beginning I had a slow start, but I knew I couldn't give up, so I just kept pushing.

On the win: It hasn't really settled in yet. I don't remember much. The first lap went by so fast, there was so much jostling going on and trying to get through and I don't even remember the first 200 meters. I was just trying to get good position. But it means a lot. I got 4th last year and that was a huge surprise to myself and a lot of people didn't think I was going to be up there with the group so I just kind of wanted to prove that I could run with these guys.

On the victory: I feel good. We came out not caring too much about time. Coach and I just wanted to get the win. It's the first outdoor race, so I wanted to go through the motions. So, I was planning on kicking back then with 200 left, just kick, and that's what I did. I am pretty confident with my speed at the end of the race.

On the win: It's the best feeling in the world. It's always a great feeling to win. It's hard competing in multiple events in one day, but it's all about heart and determination and I think I had those today.

On the Victory: I'm still a little sore and tired, but overall it feels great. This is my third time at Texas Relays and I love it because of the fans and the weather. This wasn't really the time I wanted, but I'm not breathing that hard and overall I'm happy.

On the Victory: I told Coach Bev that I wanted to come out here and win. In this event I am the underdog because I just started doing the 400m hurdles last year. God is good. I love Texas and I would tell anyone to come to Texas because Coach Bev is an unbelievable coach. She believes in me and I told her today that I was going to win, and I won.

On the victory: It's incredible. There aren't many meets like this in the nation and to be the home team at the meet makes it extra special. Half of these people out here, if not more have no idea the name of a single person on our DMR. we have Texas on our chest. Every leg you're hearing, "Texas Fight," or "Let's go Texas!" It's really a great experience.
On the home crowd: You never want to lose. You especially don't want to lose at home. With all of the amount of friends and family that everyone has here and the 200 Longhorn signs around the infield, you just don't want to lose. It's not an option.

On the win: It's exciting to win. I would have liked to jump higher but this is a really good competition. There were a lot of really good jumpers here today. It was exciting to compete with them and to be pushed.

On the height: I am a little disappointed. I wanted to clear 12 (feet) again-I've done it, but I would like to continually get it. Today, though, I feel like I did fine. My swing felt right, and everything felt pretty good.

On the victory: It feels pretty good. The preparation was there. We try to work really hard in practice, my teammates and I. We just wanted to come out here and put on a show. I enjoy the Texas Relays. It's a great environment to come out here and gauge where you're at in the season. It's a very fun meet.

On winning at the Texas Relays: It feels great to win again at the Texas Relays for the second year running. I was kind of upset, I only got to do one jump. I bruised my heel in the first round. This is a great atmosphere out here, my favorite meet to come to next to nationals. I was happy to be here and open my season here.

On her performance: I feel like my performance was strong. I felt comfortable with my runway and my phases were great, so I didn't have a problem with jumping. I was excited with my performance and glad that I came out with a win.
