On the win: It's a huge personal record. I was expecting to run a 2:11 but I just broke my school record. I'm just excited. I don't know what to do.
Men 800 Meter Run University

On the victory: I'm really, really excited that I got a chance to come out here and compete. I didn't get a chance to last year. When I saw all the people coming into the entries I was excited, it was going to be a good meet to run in. All I had intended on doing was coming on out and then going out with a good pace, hang in there, wait till the last 200 (meters) and then just take it all home as much as I could.
Women 5,000 Meter Run University/College

On the win: It's very rewarding. I'm very tired. Running in Austin is like El Paso, it's very dry and windy. It feels good to win.
Men 5,000 Meter Run University

On his performance today: It feels good to win. The wind was blowing hard, but I fought through it to win. I'm very satisfied.
