Men's 1,500 Meter Run, University/College
Darwin Price, Grambling
On the victory: It feels cool. I think I needed to pick it up a little bit. I'm trying to go to Nationals, but I'm just a sophomore, so I have some time.

Boy's 3,200 Meter Run, High School
Craig Lutz, Flower Mound Marcus
On the victory: I ran a really stupid race. I didn't really look at my time at all. It took all guts on the last 600 meters. It was the hardest field I've run in a long time.
Girl's 3,200 Meter Run, High School
Chelsey Sveinsson, Dallas Greenhill
On setting the meet and stadium record: It's a great feeling. I felt really good going into this season. I'm healthy, I feel strong and I just feel excited about running this race. I was just trying to focus on getting faster each lap of the last mile. (The record) wasn't something that I was shooting for but when I heard it before the race started, I thought 'That's a good goal. I think I'll go for that.' I really started to go after it after I came through my first mile and saw that I was at 5 minutes. I knew I just had to run (my last mile) 5:07 and I had it.

On competing at the Texas Relays: I was really glad to be over here. This is my first year running the Texas Relays even though I'm a junior, so it felt good being over here.
