No. 3 Volleyball advances to NCAA Regionals to face No. 14 Florida on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
Dec. 3, 2012 After defeating Colgate and Texas A&M at Gregory Gym in the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Volleyball tournament, No. 3 Texas will face No. 14 Florida in the NCAA Regional Semifinals. This marks the second time that the Longhorns have played the Gators this season, with Texas earning a 3-0 victory in the first match back in August. The match takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 at Gregory Gym. If you RSVP'd to the SOBs email address to attend NCAA First/Second Round matches, then you will again be on the list for Friday's match. If you haven't, there's still time. Send an email to SOBs@athletics.utexas.edu by noon on Friday to get your name added to the student ticket list. Tickets may be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis at Gregory Gym beginning at 6 p.m., one hour before the Longhorns' match. Being on the list does not guarantee you a ticket.* Once the allotment of free student tickets is gone, students may purchase general admission tickets for $5 while supplies last. You are highly encouraged to arrive early as a large crowd is expected. The same RSVP list will be eligible to claim FREE student tickets for the NCAA Regional Finals match on Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. should Texas advance past Florida. *Must be a current UT student and show a valid UT ID to gain admittance. Quantity is limited. Each UT student must RSVP individually. One ticket per student.
