Not making the trip to Dallas for the AT&T Red River Rivalry? There's still plenty of exciting UT Athletics events taking place on the 40 Acres this weekend. Friday, Oct. 12 marks a double-header of Longhorns Soccer and Volleyball action. First, Texas Soccer faces in-state foe Texas Tech at 5:30 p.m. at Mike A. Myers Stadium & Soccer Field. After the soccer match, head up to Gregory Gym as No. 9 Texas Volleyball takes on No. 21 Kansas at 7:30 p.m.
The 2012 AT&T Red River Rivalry kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 with No. 15 Texas Football taking on No. 10 Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. The San Jacinto Residence Hall Council will be hosting a FREE watch-party for UT Students in the San Jacinto Multi-Purpose Room. Pizza will be provided for students that attend. Doors will open to students beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The weekend concludes as Texas Soccer meets Kansas on Sunday, Oct. 14 at Myers Stadium. The match will begin at 1 p.m. Don't miss any of your favorite Longhorns in action all weekend long!
