Texas Traditions Day set for Texas Volleyball on Sept. 24
Sept. 19, 2011
The University of Texas is a special place with many traditions, and before No. 8 Texas Volleyball takes the court on Saturday against Kansas, visit the Gregory Gym Plaza beginning at 3 p.m. and interact with some of UT's greatest traditions. As part of Texas Traditions Day, Bevo XIV, the Longhorns' famed mascot, will be on hand for photo opportunities in addition to Smokey the Cannon and Big Bertha, the world's largest bass drum (weather permitting; fans must bring their own camera). The Longhorns open Big 12 Conference play against Kansas with first serve set for 4 p.m. presented by Southwest Dairy Farmers.
