The second-ranked Texas Volleyball team kicks off Big 12 Conference play Wednesday night against Baylor at 6 p.m. Central, presented by Time Warner Cable, followed by a rematch of last year's NCAA Austin Regional Final against No. 11 Iowa State on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Come to the Gregory Gym plaza at 5 p.m. before the Iowa State match to enjoy a student tailgate with free food. In addition, UT Athletics is distributing 2009 Horns' House T-shirts at this week's matches.
To get a shirt, students just need to show their student ID at the Texas Athletics table in the Gregory Gym concourse (size subject to availability). These limited edition shirts presented by Mighty Fine Burgers Fries & Shakes are to be worn by students to all 2009 Texas Volleyball matches and feature the 2009 home schedule on the back.
If you have never sat in the Horns' House at a Texas Volleyball match, why not try this year? The Longhorns are undefeated with five victories against ranked opponents already.
Located across from the team benches and within 15 feet of the court, the Horns' House allows students to be right on top of the action, and Gregory Gym is one of the most electric athletics atmospheres on campus. Come out and enjoy the matches and make Gregory Gym the toughest place to play in the nation!
