April 13, 2012
Texas Softball hosts the second annual Pink at the Plate game when the Longhorns take on the Oklahoma State Cowgirls on Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m. at McCombs Field (presented by St. David's HealthCare). The first 150 fans will receive a FREE pink tie-dyed Texas Softball t-shirt. Additionally, all fans in attendance will get FREE pink pom poms.
UT students can get ready for Pink at the Plate by heading out to Gregory Plaza on Wednesday, April 17 at 11 a.m. to help tie-dye t-shirt and raise awareness.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness in the Central Texas community and beyond. The Horns for Hope initiative for community enrichment is proud to help raise breast cancer awareness throughout the campus and community, and, most importantly, people's hearts.
Admission is FREE for LASP holders. For more information on how to get softball tickets, please visit the SOBs page at TexasSports.com.
