Represent your student organization in the 2012 Power in the Park home run derby challenge
April 2, 2012
Represent your student organization in UT Athletics' second annual Power in the Park Challenge on Tuesday, April 17 at 6 p.m. following the Texas Baseball vs. Texas State game at UFCU Disch-Falk Field (presented by St. David's HealthCare).
Immediately following the game, participants have 10 pitches to hit as many home runs as possible. The male and female winners each win a tailgate for their organization and a tour of UCFU Disch-Falk Field at a designated future Texas Baseball game. Additional prizes are awarded to second and third place, as well as to all participants courtesy of UT Athletics.
The first eight male and eight female UT students to register by emailing SOBs@athletics.utexas.edu before Tuesday, April 10 at 5 p.m. may participate in the home run derby. Please include your name, contact phone number, gender and student organization you wish to represent. Contestants must be members of at least one UT student organization or club in order to participate and may choose which organization to represent. Each organization may only have one representative participate.
The game is a Varsity Rewards event. Members will earn a premium point if they stay for Power in the Park. You receive one point when you check in at the game, and another point when you check in during Power in the Park.
All LASP holders receive free admission to 2012 Texas Baseball regular season home games. For more information on how to get your Texas Baseball tickets, visit the SOBs page at TexasSports.com.
