Enter the Forty Acres Fastball Challenge at Softball vs. Texas Tech on March 7

Participate in UT Athletics' second annual Forty Acres Fastball Challenge on Wednesday, March 7 at 4 p.m. following the Texas Softball vs. Texas Tech game at McCombs Field. The first 50 UT students to register by emailing SOBs@athletics.utexas.edu by Tuesday, March 6 at 5 p.m. may participate in the competition. Immediately following the game, participants will pitch from the pitcher's circle. The two UT students who clock the fastest pitch speed win a Nike backpack and a tailgate for your student organization courtesy of UT Athletics! The three fastest pitches for male and female competitors also win a prize. Remember, all LASP holders receive free admission to 2012 Texas Softball regular season home games. Don't forget to bring your UT ID to request a ticket at the McCombs Field box office on gameday.
